I had protection one for several years then I had to sell my house due to financial problems.now they say I owe 750 dollars because I had to cancel. well when I signed the agreement the reps said I could cancel at anytime because I was over 62 yrs of age but please keep it for a year so they would get their credits well I did and they lied they won't let me go without paying 750.00. we have protection one and even though the camera was pointed at our driveway and porch it did not pick up a trailer stolen on 1/18/2016 they came out and the tech said because it was white thats why it didnt pick it up all my sons belongings was in there including his dads ashes and our homeowners insurance wont cover i dont this company at all.im out a trailer and cant replace it and they dont... I am dropping Protection One alarm service today. I am through with the service I have been a customer for 20 years. My 20 years of service does not mean anything to them. My home does not have an alarm, because they did not repair it and I've been without an alarm for the last 3 days. They claim they cannot get somebody out until Friday. The technician is unprofessional and Customer service is terrible. When I asked about my bill, they told me to call the branch. They don't undestand their statement. The technician called them to email me twice but never received any when he was home to install. Actually he couldn't make it after I hour. Add comment

I called and was suppose to hear from somebody from the Everett location and never did they said they called and left a voicemail but nobody ever did, then I called back and set up a time and nobody ever came out, this is the worst alarm company . The alarm didn't sound when I was robbed a week and a half ago. Since then I have had a technician here three times. Tonight the alarm sounded four times and I had to contact customer support yet again. The video camera shoots pictures at any time of the day then sends them to our computer, this was never discussed by the salesman nor the installer. The salesman is only interested in his big commission and the phony setup to get his foot in the door. He has his installer on standby to get the equipment installed right away. We signed the initial contract with Protection One back in February of 2009, with hard-wired installation to our land-line phone. We later upgraded to cell contact the following year. Due to an issue with the AT&T cell phone towers in our area, we were unable to gain a strong enough cell signal for monitoring to take place, and were forced to upgrade once again to a Wi-Fi touch pad panel...
